研究論文 | 美國國家科學基金會研究違失案件之分類與處置：1989─2019年

美國國家科學基金會（NSF）是全球少數會將研究違失案件公告上網的機構。我們利用 NSF 的案件資料庫為工具，分析過去三十年間的 3,064 起疑似研究違失案件，並探討這些案件在數量與類型上的消長情形，以及違失行為與處分方式間的關聯性。所有人都不樂見任何違反學術倫理的情事發生。但一旦發生，就不要浪費每一次的教訓；善用這些機會，找到案件能賦予給其他研究人員的教育與警惕意義。

會議簡報 | Plenary Session | Teaching research integrity through what students have known: The implementation of educational diagnostic assessments

Individual researchers may interpret research integrity in various ways, especially given the diversity of research approaches in modern science. Therefore, understanding the misconceptions held by research integrity learners is important, as it can help instructors customize their lessons to target areas in which knowledge is incomplete. I hope that sharing this information allows the audience to stimulate ideas and discussion on ways to enhance the design of research integrity instruction and assessments.

研究論文 | 預印本之特性、出版倫理與其在 COVID-19 肺炎疫情下的知識傳播影響力

本文透過文獻分析論述預印本論文之出版倫理相關議題，以及其在 COVID-19 肺炎疫情中所扮演的知識傳播角色。首先，從預印本論文的歷史與特性談起，探討其在學術研究與知識傳播上的定位與優勢，接著提出預印本論文這種知識傳播型態所衍生的出版倫理議題；接續則探討預印本論文在肺炎疫情大流行期間的發表情形，包括數量與品質，以及其在這段期間對知識傳播的正面影響與潛在隱憂。最後，本文針對學術界中不同角色的機構與人士，各自在推動預印本論文之出版倫理與知識正確傳播上所能著力的面向提出建議。

電子報專文 | 善用期刊網站的資訊透明度預防掠奪性刊物

本期電子報翻譯與綜整由四個國際重要的學術出版專業組織，所共同編撰與發布的文件《學術出版的透明度原則與最佳實踐》（Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing）。這份文件羅列了 16 個透明度事項，並針對每個事項提供最佳實踐的做法，以協助研究者能挑選出優良經營的期刊，並作為研究著作投稿時之標的。

研究論文 | Assessment criteria for research misconduct: Taiwanese researchers’ perceptions

We developed The Assessment Criteria for Research Misconduct (The Criteria) based on existing international policies and guidelines and further conducted a survey and collected response data on 277 Taiwanese researchers’ perceived importance of each criterion included in The Criteria.

會議簡報 | Supporting research integrity administrators’ professional decision-making: Taiwan’s experience

In this talk, I introduced the role of RIOs in Taiwanese research institutions, including their general duties and the challenges and mental struggles that may be experienced during the process of managing research misconduct allegations. I also suggested possible solutions to improve such situations.

電子報專文 | 歐盟研究誠信師資培訓計畫 Path2Integrity：臺灣場次紀實

歐盟國家在 2017 年新修定「歐盟研究誠信行為準則」，並宣示研究誠信是各大學校院與研究機構的重要共通價值。Path2Integrity 團隊遂基於準則的框架，設計與發展出三套分別給中學與大學生、研究生，以及資淺研究者的研究誠信課程。Path2Integrity 團隊同時積極培育種子師資，讓教師們能利用他們所發展出的各式教學媒材，融入到自己既有的專業課程中，以深化研究誠信。在本次的培訓中，臺灣共有 14 位大學教師參與培訓，並將成為 Path2Integrity 課程的認證師資。
